10+ Stories With Endings More Disturbing Than a Halloween Film
Story 7:
Throughout the 2.5 years we’ve lived here, we’ve experienced a few minor incidents. Most of the sounds are knocking, and they consistently come from the front of the home and the corridor leading to the kids’ bedroom.
However, one time late at night, I heard footsteps that proceeded from my wife’s side of the bed to the opposite side of the room before stopping. In the morning, my wife’s phone was found where the footprints had gone. She was perplexed as to why she had placed it there, so I just kept my mouth shut. © Cartmancakes/Reddit
Story 8:
We lived in an apartment the night my elder brother passed absent. My neighbor across the hall has a fierce Rottweiler that is really vio:lent. Around 3 a.m., we heard three distinct knocks on the door with the Rottweiler screaming in panic. We opened the door and saw no one.
My aunt returned home the next day, crying in despair. She said, “I felt like someone knocked on my door at 3 AM; I felt it was your brother, but there was no one.” © Caprismart1978/Reddit
Story 9:
Back in the 1990s, I was in the living room, playing a computer game. My father entered, spoke with me for about a minute, and then returned to his room to go to bed. I returned to playing the game.
A few minutes later, I had the impression that something was peering at me. When I glanced up, I saw a figure in the shape of my father standing in the exact location where he had been. I could see through it, and it like shimmering smoke. © Bur1sm/Reddit
Story 10:
When I was in kindergarten, I used to take the afternoon bus home. For the first several weeks, I saw my grandfather by the side of the road near the entrance to my neighborhood. When I came home, I told my mother about it—how he simply stood there and waved at me. All I received were puzzled expressions.
What’s the reason? My granddad di:ed two weeks before school began. What I didn’t realize until lately was that he had perished directly beside the pond, a few steps from that road. © Bookwormgirl991 | Reddit
