-
pinch of chili flakes for heat
-
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese or nutritional yeast
-
1 tablespoon lemon juice or balsamic vinegar
-
fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish
-
tahini or yogurt sauce for serving
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Prepare the cauliflower
Wash the cauliflower and dry it thoroughly.
Cut it into medium-sized florets so they cook evenly.
3. Season the cauliflower
Place the florets in a large bowl.
Add olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, and oregano.
Toss everything together until the cauliflower is evenly coated.
4. Arrange on baking sheet
Spread the florets in a single layer on the baking sheet.
Make sure they are not crowded so they roast properly.
5. Roast
Bake for 30–35 minutes, turning halfway through cooking.
The cauliflower should become golden brown and slightly crispy around the edges.
6. Final touches
If using Parmesan or nutritional yeast, sprinkle it during the last 5 minutes of roasting.
Before serving, drizzle with lemon juice or balsamic vinegar and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
