This is one of my husband’s all time faves, he practically asks for this at least once a week

Make seasoning mix: Combine water, Italian dressing, salt, pepper, oregano, basil, onion, parsley and garlic powder in a saucepan. Bring to a boil.
Cook beef: Place roast in a 6-quart slow cooker. Pour boiling seasoning mix over roast. Cover and cook on low heat for 9 hours or on high heat for 4 hours.
Shred beef: Remove bay leaves. Shred beef in slow cooker with two forks. Cover and cook on low heat for another 30 minutes.
To serve: Serve on sandwich buns with cheese and other toppings. Broil in oven for 1-2 minutes to melt cheese.
